Technical Standards for video on RepairerTV.com

All video submitted by outside parties should meet our technical standards, much as a broadcaster requires for television.

All video played on this site is in Flash FLV9 format. You should try to supply the same format. If you are unable, we can take almost any format video, but there is maybe a fee for conversion.

Bitrate should be approximately 400

As alternatives, we prefer .avi files, however we can take any other compressed format including DVD.

Streaming more than about 15 minutes tends not to be practical, but we can of course split longer programmes. We can stream up to 30 minutes.

You will notice that all of our video starts almost instantaneously you hit the page, that is why we are keen about retaining high technical standards.

Please note, most mailboxes only take between 2 - 5Mb files, so if your video is larger, use 'YouSendIt' or any other FTP site.
